Department of the Electronics and Instrumentation is one of the oldest branches of KBNCE with 34years of track record. The branch was NBA accredited during the period of 2006-2009.It has an intake of 60 with well-qualified teaching and non-teaching staff, furnished classrooms, and fully equipped laboratories, few of which are established by grants from the AICTE under MODROB. The faculties at KBNCE provide special attention to individual students both in academics and in building a career path. From the academic year 2019-20 the department has also started programs in the M.Tech in “Applied Electronics and Instrumentation” and Phd.
PhD Electronics deals with the study of the design, manufacture, installation and operation of electronic equipment, system, machinery and telecommunication systems. PhD Electronics takes almost four to five years depending upon the project assigned.
The course shares diverse areas from the creative, interactive, and embodiment designing to instrumentation, robotics, and automation. It covers basic engineering concepts and techniques like As engineering mathematics, drawing, physics and chemistry.
Admission to the PhD Electronic course is based on Entrance Exams. However, few colleges take candidates on a merit basis. The minimum eligibility criteria is an Electronics or Electrical Background with 55-60% aggregate in the bachelors and Masters's Degree.
