Eligibility

As per UGC norms candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements who are seeking admission to the Ph.D. Program.

With not less than 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system a Master's degree from a recognized Indian University or any other equivalent degree in the relevant field.

As per the decision of the Central and State Governments, relaxation of 5% of marks to SC/ ST /OBC /Differently-Abled and such other categories.

Duration: Three Years

Selection Criteria: 

On the basis of his/her score in The Research Entrance Aptitude Test (TREAT), an applicant will be shortlisted for an interview. The candidate’s performance in the interview subject to scoring minimum marks will decide the final selection of the candidate.

Exemption From Entrance Test:

Candidates who are exempted from the entrance test (TREAT) and directly appear in the Interview who have M.Phil. Degree in the concerned subject from UGC recognized University or have qualified in the NET / SLET / SET examination.

Course Work:

For both full - time as well as a part-time candidate all the Ph.D. students shall take up the course work on the main campus of the University.

Those who passed Ph.D. coursework from UGC recognized university or students with an M.Phil. degree are exempted from the Ph.D. coursework.

For Non-APST ( Non-Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe ) candidates        INR 2,500/- 

For APST (Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe) candidates            INR 1,500/-

Through a demand draft fee must be paid to "APEX PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY"
