Bharatiya Engineering Science & Technology Innovation University (BESTIU) campus is presently located in Anantapur. Spread over 3 lakh sq. ft. built up area in 32 acres land with hostel facilities and playgrounds, it is situated near the city headquarters of Anantapur which has an abundance of budget dining and shopping options.
Permanent BESTIU campus is coming up at Gownivaripalli, Gorantla Mandal, which is just about 1.15 hours’ drive from Bengaluru International Airport in IT and Startup Capital of India, in a sprawling 102 acres with State of the Art, Eco friendly Infrastructure that includes Administration blocks, Academic blocks, library building, staff quarters, girls’ and boys’ hostels.

Governance is a key factor for university to perform efficiently and carry out its mission. This includes both a productive relationship, functional autonomy and inclusiveness in decision making. The University has a representative, collective decision making, systematic, administrative / management structure to ensure effective and shared good governance. The internal governance of University is managed by highly experienced and dedicated team members with excerpts and timely advice from our Advisory Think tank members. Involvement of Students as major stake holders is a guiding aspect of Governance.
A highly experienced team of management is constituted for guiding the university in achieving the overall vision, mission, and objectives. The academic section of the various faculties is guided by the Academic Council and the Innovation and Research is guided by the Innovation Cell, Research and Development Council. All these councils are guided and chaired by the Chancellor / Vice-Chancellor. Each of the constituent institutions is headed by the Deans / Directors who monitor the overall day to day administration of individual institutions. The university has adopted an advanced ICT enabled and smart ERP based management system for efficient monitoring and reporting so as to ensure faster and efficient implementation of administrative decisions.
Research has been an integral and crucial element for higher education at BESTIU since its inception. The Research and Development at BESTIU provides a highly visible research environment to students with an objective to research culture and develop leadership within the university. The R &D centre supports scholarly activities like fundamental research and applied research and development with government, non-government and international agencies and collaborators.
Over the years the research efforts have expanded to include sponsored research and consultancy projects in multiple disciplines like in the field of Science, Engineering, Technology and Management. The focus is to improve the research infrastructure and new academic & industry collaborations. The University continues to work with external partners by sharing ideas, pooling resources, and collaborating on findings promoting innovative research.
The University believes in the huge potential of startups, It plans to launch Business Incubation Centre (BIC) with the objective to inspire and work with aspiring entrepreneurs to shape up business ideas into commercial start-up companies. University would provide conducive environment and hand hold them. Under the guidance of diligent and experienced faculty, prospective entrepreneurs would learn the dynamic process of business development and how to survive in early stage. University would provide infrastructural support i.e. office space, meeting room to the candidates. At every step, the individuals would be mentored and nurtured for their acquiescent business ideas.
